Treat your butter like the VIP it is. Keep it dry, so no splashes from the shower or bath, and scoop with clean, dry hands. Store it somewhere cool and out of direct sun, and in summer give it a spot in the fridge. A little cool-down keeps it whipped, fluffy and fabulous.
